Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation is done using filler material containing hyaluronic acid derivatives. The procedure is done in out patient clinic and takes about half an hour. The augmented appearance may last for six to nine months depending on the filler material. The same results could be made permanent using patients own fat. When augmentation is done using fat grafting the procedure is done under local anaesthesia as day care surgery.
Lip Reduction
Lip reduction surgery could be done by surgical removing excess tissue from within the mouth. The scar is concealed inside the mouth. This procedure could be done under local anaesthesia.
Lip-lift
The drooping lips can be elevated by making a small incision at the crease between lip and nose. Lips that appears too large for the face can be reduced in size by removing tissue from undersurface.
All lip surgeries are done as a day care procedure and you could resume social activity within 10 days. |
